Delete your account

This page is for deleting your Cointrivio account. Cointrivio is published by Trivet Labs in Nigeria.

Deleting is permanent. It cannot be reversed, and any coins or tickets left on the account are forfeited. Cash out anything you have earned before you start.

Delete it from the app

If you can still sign in, this is the quickest way.

1Open the Cointrivio app and go to Profile
2Tap Delete account under Account
3Confirm with your password

Or request it here

Use this if you cannot reach the app, or if you signed in with Google or Apple and have no password. Give us the email address on the account and we will send you a confirmation link. The link expires after an hour, and nothing is deleted until you open it.

What gets erased

Your name, username, email address, phone number and profile photo
Your quiz history, scores, streaks and leaderboard entries
Your coin balance and ticket balance, which are forfeited
Your saved bank details
Your notification and device tokens, so the app stops reaching you
Every signed-in session, on every device

What we have to keep

A deleted account is not linked to you any more, but a few records survive it because the law requires it.

Records of withdrawals and payments, which financial and anti-money-laundering rules in Nigeria require us to hold for a set period
Contest settlement records, where a prize was paid out and the result has to stay auditable
Anonymous, aggregated counts that can no longer be traced back to you

Our privacy policy sets out how long each kind of record is held, and our AML policy explains why.

How long it takes

Immediately. The moment you confirm, your account is closed, your personal details are erased and you are signed out everywhere. There is no waiting period and no way to change your mind afterwards.
